I followed the steps you suggested and it did not work. I had to comment the previous UP methods of the migrations in order for it to work.

Having said that this option is not viable for me because I am planning to maintain multiple instances of this database and clients might be running different database versions. By removing the migration history table I will loose track of the changes in all instances.

If CLIENT1 is in Version 1 and CLIENT2 is in VERSION2 how I am going to update the database to VERSION3 in both of them? That is the main reason for which I opted for Migrations.

This works in MSSQL. Is this is a bug in the provider of MySQL?
