In which program file is the MySQL server/datafile connection made?

I'm developing with VS 2015. My data_table links work fine (I am able to drag and drop data elements onto a Form1.cs container, so my data source is working well. But in the header of the form, there are navigator controls that are not functional, that is, I cannot page through the records in the file.

I have

My MySQL input file is:
and in Datasources, the data elements can be dragged and dropped into the MySQL Windows Forms App, elements resized, etc.

Then there is one other file which I was manually creating from a lesson - Form1 that has no extension.

Is there a manual or video lesson which shows how to port an existing MySQL database into Visual Studio that has the MySQL ADO.NET plugins already working, then describes in details the programs which get auto-created?

THANKS in advance for any help.
