Hi Chandan,
What you are describing is not normal, meaning it does not sound like a common error thrown by the installer.

Are you installing MySQL for Visual Studio through the MySQL Installer for Windows or are you using a stand-alone MSI?

A full installation log is needed to find out why you are getting an error during the installation. For starters you are saying the installation folder seems to be "c:\Program Files(x86)\MySQL", try not changing the default installation directory to see if that fixes the problem, and if it does maybe there is a bug in the plugin's installer MSI.

To get the installation log, if you are using the MySQL Installer for Windows you can access it directly from within the window performing the installation. If you are using the stand-alone MSI you will need to run the MSI like this:

and inspect the generated installation log.

Please paste here the lines of the log where you see the error, or the whole log if you are not sure where to look.

Best regards.
