MySQL does not show up as a data source

Hello,

I just did a clean installation of Windows 10 doing all updates along the way then installed Visual Studio 2017 Community and MySQL (both MySQL for Visual Studio and the Connector, in this order, latest versions for both)

Now, when I enter Visual Studio and try to add a new data connection in the Server Explorer, MySQL does not show up as an option.
I have absolutely no idea what causes this as I did everything in order.

Could I please get some help?
