Further to my initial post.

Procedure or function '' cannot be found in database '``'. Verify that user 'MYUSERNAME'@'MYDOMAIN' has enough privileges to execute.

I have noticed the fields for procedure/function and database in this error message are both empty.

This occurs only when I run the code as a Windows Service.
The same code running in a Windows App has no issue whatsoever.

If this is due to permissions on my MySQL database, ideas on how to proceed are most welcome.
