Hello Chris,

I think your Arduino actually crashed, possibly because the Ethernet library did not close the port, so even due MySQL server disconnect the port is still in use from Arduino/Ethernet point of view.

So just like it will crash when you try to setup an IO pin that has been setup before, it will also crash when you try to output to the port.

PS.

I have not done any actual Arduino project (don't even have one) but i have ported some Arduino (Project) code to Netduino .NET Micro Framework (NETMF) so am speaking from limited experience
