Hi. Try using the .zip file download from LaunchPad. That has the sha1 folder where the .diff has already been applied. So you can ignore that.
Typically, this error occurs when there are multiple instances of the .h and/or .cpp files located in your sketch and libraries folder. Make sure the mysql_connector and sha1 folders are only in your libraries folder and not in your sketch.
