Hi Shruti,

If your customer needs real synchronous replication and multi-master, the only solution is NDB. However, this engine is not 100% compatible with InnoDB's design. You might need to make some minor changes in your application.

MySQL InnoDB Cluster is also a very easy HA solution for MySQL. As you consider yourself a newbie, I would dig in that direction. However Multi-master, multi DC etc... is not an easy topic. I would recommend you to get some help to design and support this architecture.
