Referential integrity checking
Hi,
I am using Mysql 4.1.4 gamma and have a database using innodb tables and referential integrity constraints.
Is it possible to force mysql to do an referential integrity check on the whole database.
The reason this is required is because I take a mysqldump of the database, upgrade the database to the latest data model and then import the data back into the database. This causes "0" values to be inserted into my NOT NULL foreign key fields that have been newly introduced. I then run scripts to correct the problems, but obviously it would be nice if there was a way to ensure that I had indeed corrected all the problems.
Anybody have any ideas?
