Data Dictionary initialization failed.

I hope I am posting to the right forum cos the error I am getting - Data Dictionary initialization failed is related to me not able to re-intall MYSQL server, as I am stuck in the 'Wrong' root password for mysql.

The thing is that this password is something that I have used all along. Furthermore, MYSQL server and workbench 8.0.13 were working perfectly and then suddenly the password is not working anymore.

I wonder why this kind of thing can happen.

Anyway, back to the above.

So, what I did was to follow what this guy did:

There was another error :

Failed to find valid data directory.

I have also tried to reset the password by following :

And when I re-install MYSQL server, when it asked me for the root password, there is a check and then for very long, it just run like forever before a red x came out.

Please help.

I have been stuck with this problem and I can't do my work without MYSQL server :(
