Find specific word in string, return the previous 4 characters

Good morning,
I am in need of creating a statement that searches a string for the word 'MONTH'. If it is found I need to return the 4 characters PRIOR to the word. I can't for the life of me figure it out. Any tips or tricks someone would be willing to share to get me there?
