Can we successfully shift mysql data from C drive to another drive. In windows mysql data are stored by default to C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\Data folder. As the size of of database increases, we need to shift it to another drive for example to D or E drive, for security and other purposes also it is desirable to shift data from C drive to another drive. I have searched for it and have not found any authentic process and documentation for doing it. I am using windows7 and mysql 8.0.
