Should I Upgrade to 5.7 or 8.0?
I am running MySQL 5.0 on a Windows server with ASP.NET pages.
I am about to upgrade MySQL.
I know this will be a painful process.
The question here is: Should I plan to upgrade all the way to 8 or just 5.7 ?
From a pure SQL Query standpoint, is there a difference?
My research says not much. So it must be all changes to the structure?
