Error while connecting

Dear all,
I am using MySQL5.0 for Windows. Whenever i try to connect to the server, it shows me a error somewhat like this:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'Sreejith'@'localhost' (using passwor
d: YES).
Could anyone of you tell me what could be the problem due to which it is happening.
