American Airlines (from a talk at last years MySQL Conference): 15TB (whole system). I have heard of 3 projects in the petabyte range.

I would guess that the median system size is several GB.

# tables -- a few, to thousands. Someone was asking about 1M tables -- it was causing troubles.

OS -- Windows; Linux, FreeBSD, CentOS, etc, etc.

I've heard of 500M rows in a single table; I doubt if that is the biggest.

What are you really fishing for?
