Thanks! I didn't know about show processlist. I did that and saw that a delete statement that I thought a cancelled was still running and my drop database was still waiting on that to complete. I was able to kill the delete statement and drop the database in about 5 seconds.
You saved me a lot of time. Thanks Again!
