Separate databases in separate files

Is it possible to have MySQL setup such that each database exists in its own separate file? I'd like to arrange for each user to have their MySQL database files located within their own home directory rather than all sharing the "ibdata1" file.

Is this possible? If so, how can I accomplish it? And if not possible what does the forum recommend?
