Thanks Edwin,

I know the newer versions are better and we are actually developing in this new version. The thing is that I need to know the precise date of support for MySQL 5.5 to Plan the update in some clients that are still in this old version and they don't want to do it.

I found this discussion (https://features.cpanel.net/topic/mysql-support-versions-through-end-of-oracles-extended-support-date-so-not-forced-to-upgrade) that states this date would be December 2018. But I can't find the official word from MySQL and or Oracle.

Any help in finding the official word is highly appreciated.

Thanks
