MySql 5.6 Backup memory usage going to 98% not coming down

Hi All,

We are facing a problem with MYSQL Memory usage going to 98%, After we have taken backup of our database and it not release memory back. Please suggest us is there any garbage collection of Memory afeter taking the backup.
