periodic out of memory errors
Hello,
We have a pretty big problem with an heavily used MySQL server. The memory utilization is a ever-growing slope and in about one week the server starts producing messages that it cannot allocate more memory. It hits the 2.8Gb limit (the server has 16Gb of ram but it's a 32bit architecture) and it has to be restarted.
A chart with the memory profile over the last month is at :
http://monalisa.cern.ch/~costing/mysql/memory.png
and the configuration file is:
http://monalisa.cern.ch/~costing/mysql/my.cnf
The server is 5.0.21, the system is Scientific Linux 3.0.6 (libc-2.3.2) and we use SSL authentication.
Do you have any idea where to start looking to make this server stable?
Thanks a lot!
