Fulltext search - can I add keywords?

I have a car database, I need to search for "BMW", but I don't want to change the default settings of indexing 4 or more character words. Can this be done?
I'm thinking there might be a list I can add to which will index my own special keywords as I don't want to index every 3 letter word, just "BMW" would be fine.
