How read tables in CDROM

Hi all,
I am trying to develop a database which will have some updateable tables located in hard disks, and MyISAM read-only tables located in CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. I know it is possible, but I couldn't find information on how can I setup the database to support this.
I am planning to use the Windows version of MySQL.
I am looking for this information. Please let me know where could I find this information.
