MYSQL and 4 Billion Rows
Hi,
Hi,
We have an appliction, java based, web based gateway, with backend as mssql,
It is for a manufacturing application,
with 150+ real time data points to be logged every second.
so thats about 150 tags * 60 seconds * 60 minutes * 24 hours *30 days * 12 months = 4,665,600,000 (4.6 Billion approximately)
so thats aboout 150 coloumn x 4.2 billion rows (with data type as integer and times stamps for each row)
I want to run mysql on Win Xp,
what sort of hardware is required??? recommened hardware???
will it slow down data access (historical alarms and data)?????
can u please suggest me,
because i heard the max table size is 4 gb???
please help me with info
