I cannot repeat this. (I tested with 4.0.26, but this shouldn't make much difference in this respect).

d1 labratMatt # perror 130
MySQL error: 130 = Incorrect file format
Do you have a .MYI file with illegal contents (empty for example)?

Do you have valid .frm and .MYD files?

Did you try to shutdown and restart the server (which was not necessary for me, but just to be safe)?
