Repairing a table

Hi,
My server crashed due to a power problem at the hosting company. After restarting the db I ran a optimize table on one of the tables in use at the time of the crash.

The optimize operation ended w/ the error msg 126 for record at position 493762624.

If I try to select a record from the table now I get the error 1016: Can't open file: 'filename.MYI'. (errno:144)

Any tips on how to fix this situation?

Thanks in advance.
