Windows 5.0 -> 5.5.9 incorrect key file
After switching from 5.0 to 5.5.9 on Windows XP I get lots of "incorrect key file" errors and I can by no mean repair or upgrade the tables.
I've got 80 ISAM databases containing about 100 tables each. Most of the tables are ok but about 10% get this error when trying to access them. Even a "show create table ..." gives the error "ERROR 1034 (HY000): Incorrect key file for table 'document'; try to repair it".
I've just uninstalled 5.0 and installed 5.5.9 and set the datadir path to point to the existing data.
In my.cnf there is:
sql_mode=MYSQL40
skip-innodb
any hints...?
