well-- yet again there seems to be some malfunction w/ this forum, so i couldn't edit the post (grr), but if you take a close look, you'll see that this works, as long as the original array is named $hs, not $hstops

but-- is there a more simple way to do this w/ just using MySQL commands? i shouldn't have to use this php array, should i? what are my other options?
