Table keeps crashing. Why?
A MyISAM table keeps crashing every few hours. I have no idea why. How would I find out?
This is what I know:
* there's plenty of disk space
* restarting mysql didn't help
* it used to work, and I have not updated any software lately on this box
* the log says that auto-repair failed, but when I say "repair table", it succeeds without a hitch within a second or so
* there isn't anything related to the crash itself in the log that I can find
* there is another instance of the same app (with the same database schema) on the same machine, with a similar data update pattern, and that table is not crashing
What can I do?
