TransactionScope and Distributed Transaction

MySQL: TransactionScope and Distributed Transaction supported? I ran into this using MySQL 5.1:

NHibernate.ADOException: cannot open connection ---> System.NotSupportedException: Multiple simultaneous connections or connections with different connection strings inside the same transaction are not currently supported.

And it occurred o me that people are talking about it:

Downloading 6.x alpha now - two questions:
1. 6.x alpha good?
2. this fixed in 6.x?
