I have to check what happens if the combined log files are > 4 GB in a 64-bit computer. It should work, but I have never tested it.
Currently, having the combined log file size > 4 GB is not a very good idea on any computer, because crash recovery can then take long. The rule: 'set log file size to 25 % of the buffer pool size' has to be adjusted in the manual.
