Re: ERROR 1005 (errno: 150)

I had this symptom when I changed a column that contained a foreign key to explicitly say NOT NULL. I forgot that the foreign key constraint erroneously had "ON DELETE SET NULL". I changed the constraint to "ON DELETE CASCADE" and the problem went away.
