Thank you agian, Jay.
I am not sure how Oracle implement MVCC. InnoDB is very similar to Oracle. I was wondering whether they will do something on this. Now, InnoBase is owned by Oracle.
Not sure what this will bring to mysql community.

I have another unrelated question in another post, I will appreciate it if you are kind enough to let me know why.

mysql> select @t1=now();
+------------------------+
@t1
+------------------------+
2005-11-24 09:24:12
+------------------------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

mysql> select @t2=now();
+------------------------+
@t2
+------------------------+
2005-11-24 09:30:24
+------------------------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

mysql> select @t2-@t1;
+------------------------+
@t2-@t1
+------------------------+
0
+------------------------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

Shouldn't `@t2-@t1` be around 6 mins?
Shouldn't it be simple be enough? :-)
