quantifying activity at the buffer pool?

Hi Friends,

Is there any way to measure the "contention" at the innodb buffer pool?

What do I mean by "contention"? Well, I have multiple databases in my MySQL. The executing workloads accesses all of them. I believe there will be some "contention" at the buffer pool.

I guess contention can be defined by number of buffer inserts, changes, delete-marking operations, and purges.

Thanking in advance
Rizwan :-)
