I am trying to understand your scenario. when i search for .my.ini in installation folder then i am able to find it BUT not able to find my.cnf file
below is the result when i open my.ini file.
# The maximum size of one packet or any generated or intermediate string, or any parameter sent by the
# mysql_stmt_send_long_data() C API function.
max_allowed_packet=128M
