we are maintaining this table structure for Warehouse(OLAP : De-normalization) not for OLTP(normalization).
actually whatever i posted my table is not actual table, modified the names as you said like dy_, rb_ or c_ etc because of security reasons.
and ps_key vs ps_id
in this ps_id as OLTP id ps_key as Surrogate key which is generating MySQL, purely Wareehouse concept and that is following Inmon approach.
