Hi, thank you.

I don't see any reason, why it can't be disabled in config when it corrupts partitioning functionality etc. It's currently blocking us from using mysql8, we were lucky enough to test on 8.0.29 and not previous versions, where instant algorithm was implemented much simpler (and maybe stable).

Hiding versioned schema in nontransparent DD tables separate from .ibd files is highly unfortunate decision.
