Talking to ESRI

I have a keen interest in getting ESRI products to work with the MySQL spatial extension. The problem is that ESRI has a proprietary adapter to speak to spatially extended databases and each one is a bit different. We have firmly told them that that we cannot and will not support Oracle or DB2, only MySQL and since they really want our business, they are at least entertaining the idea that MySQL is usable for GIS. What I need is some of the spatial extension developers to reply back or contact me so I can put them in touch with the ESRI database developers. This feels like such a long shot, but I don't know how else to go about it. Thanks for your time and effort.
