Re: When will GIS Improvements make it to production?

I want to be clear, I am not complaining. I think what Holyfoot has done with spatial, given all his other commitments is fantastic. I am just concerned with spatial going more and more mainstream -- it must be, as even Microsoft, hardly a great innovator, has implemented it now -- that MySQL will get left behind.

I am prepared to put a lot of my own time into making sure this doesn't happen, but I'm no C++ guru, so my efforts will have to be restricted to testing and bug filing.
