Re: When will GIS Improvements make it to production?

As a relative newbie, I'm trying to decide what version of MySql my host's technical guys should install on my dedicated server (they will install anything I ask for).

If I want all the latest GIS functions, should I refer them to:
http://downloads.mysql.com/forge/mysql-5.1.35-gis/

or are any of these improvements also in 5.1.41, for example or 5.5.0 milestone release ?
