Searching Point Column
I have created a database table which has a field of type Point. I have inserted about a million records with x,y coordinates (latitude & longitudes). If I have an arbitrary lat/long (that does not have an exact match) what would be the best way to find the closest coordinates from the database table? Can someone give an SQL example?
