MySQL and dual-cpu server

Hello,

We are currently using MySQL on a Windows 2000 machine (IIS 5) with dual 600 mhz CPUs, 512 MB RAM. We are planning on upgrading to a faster (P4, 3.0 ghz, 1 GB RAM) server. The current server hosts several small databases using MyISAM tables, with no single table over about 10 MB in size

My question is, would I see much of a performance gain using a dual-cpu setup, as opposed to a single cpu? I need to determine if the cost of the dual setup is worth it. We are running .asp pages using MySQL as the db backend.

Thanks.
