High cpu wait during mysql benchmark

Hi there,

I am stressing a MySQL database using the OSDL's DBT-2 workload, which is based on the TPC-C benchmark. I'm used to run this workload in various servers running MySQL without problems.

The last server I was told to test is presenting a very high cpu wait (> 80%) during the performance run. I've never experienced such behaviour before. I did nothing strange with this server in comparison with the other servers I already tested. There's plenty of I/O bandwidth (28 disks in hardware raid-0) and memory (4 GB).

I'd like the help of you guys to troubleshoot this problem.

thanks,

-Rilson
