Maximum CPU/Socket/Cores supported

Hi everybody.
Does MySQL Community Server run (and scale) on multi CPU/socket/cores?
Let's assume that my CentOS (6.2) server with two Xeon E7 4820 CPUs running MySQL Community Server (5.5) has a load of 11.00 (for 5 minutes).

That's the output of mpstat:
CPU %usr %nice %sys %iowait %irq %soft %steal %guest %idle
all 64.53 0.00 0.42 0.15 0.00 0.29 0.00 0.00 34.61

If I'll bought another couple of (same) CPUs will my MySQL installation scale on the new CPUs?
PS my server has 128Gb RAM with innodb_buffer_pool_size = 96G
PPS will MySQL Cluster (not) have the same limits?
