Re: mysql connection issue when stress stesting
first thanks for your reply,
i am not sure that the question is silly, I hope it isn't ....
I restart the box and didn't change settings of php, the apache server and mysql configuration file are set since some time already and should support the number of connection I requested, 500 mas connection and 500 mas user for mysql...
the mysql.sock file is in the correct folder with the good rights (otherwise no request would be executed)
I do my stress testing on a Fedora core 3 with openSTA, but the issue also occurs when using the apache benchmark tool for exemple :
ab -c 75 -n 10000 "http:192.168.0.1/mapage.php"
The request myight not failed the first time, i do the test but if I run it a second time many request will failed and the pache error_log file will show this error message :
PHP Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket mysql.sock (11)
Thanks for your support , i will check the link you provided and come back to you if it help me.
