Can be upto 50% to 80% of the RAM size.

Can we also see the size of innodb_log_file_size?? log file size should be at least 25% of the log buffer size.

Questions

1. Show create table tblAuditLog\G
2. Show table status..
3. Explain Select...
4. Select version()

you can create summary table(s) for older report(s), try to archive old data, so, you don't need to run MIS reports on full dataset.
