Re: Optimizing a query to out-perform MS Access (easy, right?)

Hi, i have a similar problem.
My software used Access before i recently switched to MySQL,
but its strangely slow, ok i have managed to drop the time alot
by tweaking the code and queries. But its still 15-30 seconds slower
than access in some parts!

In my programming enviroment its runs perfectly, but on this
end-user system it is SLOOOOOOOOOW... Perhaps its a mysql server setting
that makes the problem for us both?
