hi all,
i'm going to calculate maximum connections for my new mysql database. I followed this guide:
http://mysqlhacker.com/kabir/performance/calculating-maximum-connections-for-mysql-server.html

But it seem wrong when i checked it with my old mysql database.
With old one, i configured to let 1000 max_connections, and my database is normal. With this guide, it recommends to configure 14 max_connections.

So, is this guide right or wrong. If it's wrong, how can i calculate maximum connections for my mysql database.

Im a newbie.

Thank you very much.
