Thanks for your reply Rick. :-)

I want to calculate the amount of disk IO involved in executing TPC-H queries. This will allow me to identify the data-intensity of the TPC-H queries. I define data intensity as a ratio of (amount of disk IO)/(execution time of a query).

Is there a better to identify disk IO for executing a query?

I welcome any input.
