That's a few hundred reads per second. Not bad.

I could show you a database that could handle 300M per day. I could show you a different one that is struggling with 300 per day. We need more info before we can help you.

What kind of data? What kind of queries? How often is the data changing? Are the reads reading 1 row (hopefully) or a million rows each (this won't fly)? Can you provide usable indexes for the reads? Etc.
