Hi,

Try creating a full-text index on your column:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/innodb-fulltext-index.html

And use the MATCH function to find matches:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/fulltext-search.html
